Should I build a custom ERP or use Odoo or ERPNext?
If a standard ERP fits 80% of your process, customising it is usually faster and cheaper. A custom ERP makes sense when your operations are unusual, when you only need a few modules done very well, or when licence fees for your team size are high.
Can the ERP be rolled out in phases?
Yes, and that is recommended. A typical rollout starts with the module that causes the most pain, often inventory or sales, then adds purchasing, HR and finance once the team is comfortable.
Will it work with our accounting software?
